What I've done

Since I could hold a pencil, I have not been far from a pad of paper to sketch on or doodle. As a result, friends and family have come to me for anything and everything creative and artistic. My skill set and abilities have adapted over the years. I still have a pad of paper, pencils and a bunch of grubby old stumps and kneaded gum erasers. I also have a Wacom tablet that pre-dates USB, and a newer one as well. I came to digital art early, I still remember using MacPaint on a Mac SE with a black and white screen. I have always evolved, I was there at the dawn of layers, and then vectors, and get really excited about any new technology that will expand and enhance creativity.

What I'm doing

I have held many different types of jobs, and have practiced art and design in my off time. I never pursued a career in this field until recent. Some would say that I am self-taught, I would say that I am hungry for knowledge of all things creative, and find myself seeking that in ways other than the academic. For years, I thought that if I did not have a degree, no one would ever hire me as an artist. I knew I had the talent and ability, but denied myself the opportunity. I was doing it wrong. So one day, fed up with this self-perceived, and maybe even self-created road block to a career doing what I love, I decided to put faith in my designs and just go for it. I hope you like what you see.
